HISLA Labor Materia Vol. 1
Labor Materia is a project exploring craftsmanship and its various forms within a contemporary context, where the initiatives become processes of dialogue and cross-generational creation, taking on different formats depending on the discipline and yielding varying results in each exercise. The first publication presents the record compiled by the participants of the 2024 edition.
Hisla was founded in 2020 following several years of collaboration amongst its members; it is an interdisciplinary, not-for-profit group that explores and researches the cultural context and heritage of the Canary Islands through new initiatives and projects that serve as a tool for socio-cultural connection. The team comprises a group of creatives from the archipelago working in various disciplines such as design, video and photography (Octavio Barrera, Dani Millán, Ampi Aristu, Aythami Santana and Iván Santana), united by a shared interest in creating a common platform for the work they have produced over recent years up to the present day.

Brutal los acabados de este pulover, lo usamos mi chico y yo, eso es lo bueno del tallaje que tiene, que es versátil, el color algo lavado le da ese toque de prenda para toda la vida, los puños y el cuello conservan su forma increíblemente! Muy top el diseño! Son prendas que permanecen y eso es lo mejor de ellas
la camiseta que no te querrás quitar, porque igual que van con unos jeans y unas sandalias, van con un short y una gorra con chanclas, el diseño es hermoso y el gramaje perfecto, no importa cuántas veces la laves, camiseta ready cada día
