of a story.
Part 1.
Once upon a time -actually it was two years ago during our (Geo and I, Zoe) first surf trip together along the Atlantic Coast-, we met Mascha for a surf session in Guéthary, South of France. A little while earlier, we’d met her in Imsouane, Morocco, in the first Longboard Trip by Itsonlywater. Haha this is turning complicated, but believe me, it’ll all make sense in a few lines. 🙂
So, coming back to that surf session in France, that day I met Jérôme. (See, here it comes. 😏).

I remember a few things about that encounter. What a cheerful man. How polite he was. What a sense of calm. The way he moved through the water – leaning so far forward on his board, precise in his movements and gliding time and time again over the waves.
Time went by and we stayed in touch. We watched him carry on catching waves. And discovered his connection with the horses, which he works with to help people get better. How interesting, don’t you think? I remember when he told us he’d seen our clothes at Wasted Talent. I remember promising him we’d send him the t-shirt he liked. (Spoiler: it didn’t happen 🙏). Then 2025 started and everything came to a head with the opening of Latitud Fuego® Haría.
Then 2026 came around and we planned a new surf trip, taking in Portugal, the north coast of Spain and the south of France. And of course we remembered Coke and Itsonlywater. Imsouane. Mascha. And that guy we went surfing with in the French Basque Country. We remembered the waves. We remembered the horses. JÉRÔME CAME BACK TO OUR MIND LIKE A THUNDER.

Waves represent the forces of nature in the ocean. Horses represent those forces on land. Jérôme is the privileged soul capable of dancing amongst both of them. 🌊🐴

I had to tell Geo. She said Yes! I had to tell Jérôme. He said -well, after accepting my apologies for disappearing for so long- Yes! Now it’s Kike’s turn, I told you I’d tell you about him. Kike, better known as wooden_film, is a film maker based in Barcelona with extensive experience in film shoots linked to the sea for fashion brands. But above all, we have a very good friend in common, Anna (the Anna we’ve told you about a thousand times 💘 forever fans de Anna) who studied fashion with Geo. Oops, the story’s getting complicated again – sorry about that. I’m getting back to the point: Kike said Yes! And finally, I’ll tell you about Coke, also known as Coko, coko if. Coke is the creative mind behind Itsonlywater, with a unique perspective on classic surf photography. We always keep him in mind, and this was the perfect occasion. Coke said Yes! and the team was ready:
